General Information

Kia ora koutou,
My name is Ainslie Howie. I am originally from Dunedin but have been based in Rotorua for the last 30 + years. My role in education consists of 19 years teaching experience in intermediate and primary settings, the majority of which was in a leadership role, and 9 years as a Resource Teacher of Learning & Behaviour in Te Hā o Te Manawa Cluster 20, Rotorua. In the latter, I have supported schools, kaiako and whānau across primary and secondary settings. I am a mother of two children. I have a daughter aged 19 and a son who is 16 years old, soon to be 17. My interests include singing and musical theatre. I am a member of the Te Ao Marama Choir and have been involved with many shows over the years. I also enjoy walking and reading. I am excited to take on a new role and I look forward to meeting you and working alongside you in the near future.
Ngā mihi,
Ainslie.
