Kia ora,

I was born in Hamilton and raised in Otorohanga and Ahipara before moving to Wellington for university. After that, I lived in Auckland and Cambridge, U.K., before returning to Wellington to begin my teaching journey in 2013. I spent eight years as a relief teacher while raising a young family. In 2022, I moved to Morrinsville with my husband and our two school-aged children, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of Wellington, and joined the wonderful team at Morrinsville Intermediate.

I am passionate about teaching at the intermediate level because this age group is incredibly dynamic and full of potential. I love seeing the growth and development that occurs during these years, and I am committed to helping each student achieve their goals and discover their strengths.

In my free time, I enjoy heading to the beach and being actively involved in all my children's activities. Whether it’s cheering them on at various sporting endeavours, helping out with their school events, or riding our bikes around the neighbourhood. I love being a part of their lives and our community.
